Crane Inspection & Certification Bureau, one of the world’s premier service providers in crane operations safety training and inspections services, is looking for a knowledgeable and experienced NCCCO Practical Examiner, Safety Trainer and Inspector to join our team in Deer Park, TX.
Job Description:
Provide safety training to operators, riggers, inspectors, supervisors, and trainers, inspect equipment and assist with curriculum development. The Practical Examiner and Safety Trainer must have significant experience in Mobile Crane Operations and Rigging with experience in Overhead Cranes, Forklifts and Aerial Lifts a plus. Services are provided at CICB's TX and FL facilities, locations throughout the US, customer's site, and internationally.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of ten years experience in the crane, lifting and material handling industry as an equipment operator, inspector, rigger, mechanic or manager. Trainer experience preferred.
- Must have the ability to function independently, be flexible and to interact with customers and employees in a professional manner.
- Must have strong organizational skills to maintain expense reports, training and inspection documents and files.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft applications such as Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Extensive travel is required.
- Must be able to lift 40 lbs. often and 60+ lbs. occasionally, with a dolly, to lift rigging gear, travel bags and rigging kit.
- Must be fit to climb cranes and lifts during inspections, and if applicable, for safety training purposes. Fit-for-Duty physical required.
- Valid driver license and safe driving record.
- Must be over 18 years old.
- Military background, international experience, fluent in Spanish is a plus.

Must successfully complete Drug Screen and Background Investigation. Must have valid and clear driver’s license and be able to secure a TWIC card.
