We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Wellness Director - Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Northwood Assisted Living, a 91-bed assisted living facility in Springfield, Ohio. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional care and services to our residents. Responsibilities:
Provide exceptional care and services to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met
Collaborate with the Wellness Director to develop and implement individualized care plans, incorporating the latest research and best practices
Supervise and mentor nursing staff, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and knowledge
Act as a resource person, assisting all nursing staff to develop their individual skills and potential
Facilitate teamwork and foster a positive and supportive work environment
Stay up-to-date with State and Federal regulations, ensuring compliance and maintaining a high level of care
Requirements:
Current Nursing License (LPN) in good standing
Training and/or experience in gerontological nursing, as well as education and/or experience in nursing services administration
Strong leadership interest and ability
Ability to facilitate teamwork and be a team player
Knowledge of State and Federal regulations
Ability to assist in planning and budgeting for nursing care, including recommendations from the Wellness Director
