What will the Dock Supervisor do?
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing loading dock operations. These operations include shipping, inventory, delivery. Your goal will be to increase operational efficiency and ensure a safe environment.

Duties and Key Responsibilities
· Track and manage inventory to maintain 100% accuracy
· Inspect dock and keep the dock area clean and safe
· Shipping and Receiving coordinator
· Verify Outbound Load Sheets for 100% accuracy
· Create Load Sheets for Customer’s pick up at facility
· Manage warehouse staff
· Evaluate performance metrics to ensure quality delivery and cost-efficient work-flow processes
· Assessing project and resource requirements
· Organizes relevant training sessions
· Always keeps plant clean and orderly
· Any other duties may be assigned
Required Skills
· Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, excel, Power Point, Outlook)
· 5 years of warehouse/plant management experience (focus on dock logistics)
· Self-Starter and Organizational Skills
· Ability to prioritize and manage expectations
· A keen eye for detail is a must
· Ability to work independently
· Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedures manuals
· Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
· Ability to solve practical problems and to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram or schedule form
Physical Demands
· Requires to be physically active for long periods
· Able to walk, stand, bend, squat for extended periods of time
· Able to lift, carry, push, pull and lift to 50 pounds
Hours
6am - 3pm Monday - Friday
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
