- Perform frac hit prevention and remediation on producing wells

Monitor offset wells before, during, and after nearby frac operations

Closely monitor and document well pressures and operating conditions

Identify abnormal pressure changes or production conditions associated with frac activity

Coordinate and supervise flowback operations following frac activity

Assist with well shut-ins, startups, pressure management, and returning wells to normal production

Inspect wells and production equipment for operational issues resulting from frac activity
-
Troubleshoot production and equipment issues in the field
-
Communicate well conditions, pressure changes, and operational concerns to field leadership

Coordinate with production, completions, flowback, and other field personnel as required

Maintain accurate field documentation and operational reports
-
Follow all company and client safety, environmental, and operating procedures

Previous oil and gas production operations experience required

Strong understanding of wellhead equipment, production equipment, pressures, and well operations

Experience with frac defense, frac hit remediation, flowback, completions support, or offset-well monitoring strongly preferred

Ability to recognize abnormal well conditions and respond appropriately

Comfortable working independently across a large geographic field area

Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate with multiple field crews

Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record

Ability to work a rotating 8 days on / 6 days off schedule with 10-hour days
This position is well suited for an experienced Production Technician, Lease Operator, Production Operator, or Multi-Skilled Operator who has worked around active completions and understands how frac activity can impact producing offset wells.
Crosby Energy Services is seeking an experienced Production Technician III to support field operations throughout South Texas. This is a Frac Defense position and is not assigned to a traditional production route. The technician will work directly with field leadership supporting active frac operations, protecting offset wells, monitoring well conditions, and responding to frac-related production issues.
