Job Title: Certified Nurse Aid (CNA) – Acute Care Unit

Job Summary:
The Certified Nurse Aid (CNA) on the Acute Care Unit is responsible for delivering compassionate, hands-on patient care under the supervision of registered nursing staff. Duties include assisting patients with daily living activities, monitoring vital signs, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining a clean and safe environment. The CNA will collaborate with the healthcare team to provide quality care and ensure a positive patient experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with bathing, grooming, feeding, and mobility needs.
- Record and monitor patient vital signs and report changes to nursing staff.
- Support patient safety by adhering to care protocols and infection control standards.
- Provide emotional support and respond promptly to patient needs.
- Assist with the transport of patients and ensure patient rooms are organized and well-stocked.
