Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Licensed HVAC Technician to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Install, service, and repair HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and building automation systems.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and electrical diagrams to diagnose issues accurately.
- Perform electrical diagnostics and troubleshoot complex mechanical systems using specialized tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters.
- Conduct plumbing work related to HVAC systems, including pipe fitting and ammonia refrigeration setups where applicable.
- Maintain compliance with EPA regulations by handling refrigerants responsibly and performing leak detection.
- Diagnose mechanical failures and perform equipment repairs efficiently to minimize downtime.
- Conduct routine maintenance inspections on HVAC/R equipment and mechanical systems to ensure optimal operation.
- Operate welding equipment for repairs or modifications when necessary.
- Utilize building automation systems to optimize system performance and energy efficiency.
- Maintain detailed service records, reports, and logs of all work performed for accountability and future reference.
Skills
- Proven construction experience with mechanical systems installation and repair.
- Extensive service technician experience in HVAC/R environments with a focus on troubleshooting complex issues.
- Strong understanding of schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Knowledge of HVAC design principles to support system upgrades or modifications.
- Familiarity with plumbing, electrical diagnostics, refrigeration technology, and ammonia refrigeration systems.
- Mechanical knowledge related to system repair, boiler operation, and property maintenance tasks.
- Experience working with building automation systems for climate control management.
- Ability to operate field service equipment including ohmmeters, welding tools, and diagnostic devices.
- Excellent mechanical skills with a focus on equipment repair and preventative maintenance.
- Driver’s license with a clean driving record; ability to operate <PERSON> drivers or similar vehicles as needed.
