The Optometry Assistant will handle various responsibilities including but not limited to patient pretesting, insurance verifications, claims submissions, sales, office responsibilities, etc. The ideal candidate is both a proven team player and able to work independently while remaining detail-oriented and organized. We are seeking highly motivated individuals with excellent grammar and writing skills, possess excellent patient care and customer service skills, who is proficient with a computer as well as other office equipment. One year prior similar office experience preferred but not required. Bilingual Spanish and English is highly desirable. Ability to troubleshoot office equipment is also desirable. Weekend availability is needed.
