Delivery Driver (Reno to Lake Tahoe Region)
Compensation: Starting $23.00-$26.00 /hour

We are an independent contractor for FedEx Ground, seeking dependable and safety-focused delivery drivers to join our team delivering in the Lake Tahoe region. This role involves driving in mountain terrain. While we provide training, prior experience driving in rough terrain or winter conditions is highly valued.
Position Overview:
As a FedEx Ground driver, you will report to the FedEx terminal off the Mustang exit in Sparks, NV to load your vehicle, complete deliveries and pickups throughout your assigned route, and return your truck to the terminal at the end of the day. Key responsibilities include:
- Safely operating a delivery vehicle in mountainous conditions
- Scanning, delivering, and picking up packages on schedule
- Performing pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Providing superior customer service to every recipient
Full Time Shifts Available:
- 4 Days a Week (10 Hour Shifts)
We also offer flexible part time shifts for those looking to supplement their income.
Part Time Shifts Available:
- 1, 2, 3 Days a Week (10 Hour Shifts)
Driver Qualifications (must meet all):
- At least 1 year of verifiable driving experience within the last 3 years (not necessarily all-day driving) — or completion of our 2-week training program
- Valid regular driver’s license (Class C)
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
- Clean driving record (no DUIs, reckless driving, or major violations within the past 3 years; minor tickets/accidents acceptable)
- Clean criminal background (no major misdemeanors or felonies within the past 10 years)
- Ability to pass a DOT physical, including drug screening
- Successful clearance of a 10-year DOT background check
- Conversational English skills
- Minimum age of 21
- Ability to reliably lift 150lbs.
Preferred but not required: Experience driving in snow, ice, or mountainous terrain, and/or basic mechanical skills.
