Overview
Chatterbugs Speech is seeking a SLPA to join our team. In this position, you will provide early intervention speech and language services to children in either a clinical setting or in the client's home. You will collaborate with parents and other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for your clients.
This is a part-time per diem position with the potential to grow towards full-time pending availability. We offer flexible hours with the ability to create your own schedule.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct speech therapy services to children in various settings, including in a clinical setting or in the client's home.
- Implementing personalized treatment plans devised by the Speech-Language Pathologist for patients.
- Educate families and caregivers about speech and language development, as well as strategies to support their child's communication skills at home.
- Maintain accurate documentation of SOAP notes, assessments, treatment plans, and progress reports.
Qualifications:
- Bilingual - not required, but a plus
- California – SLPA License
- Professionally skilled in verbal and written communications
- Ability to work effectively within a team and independently under the guidance of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Experience working with diverse populations
