Overview
This position is responsible for supporting the daily operations, maintenance, and overall appearance of church facilities by performing general building repairs, coordinating operational needs, and assisting with a variety of facility-related projects and responsibilities to ensure a safe, functional, and welcoming space for our congregation, campus partners, and community.
We are looking for someone who is dedicated to our church mission and values, has experience in facilities, maintenance, or a related trade, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Duties
- Provide Administrative Support by assisting the Director of Campus Operations with event and activity scheduling, problem-solving, visitor assistance, phone coverage, vendor coordination, and basic office and technology support. Coordinate and manage required state inspections, including fire, boiler, and elevator inspections.
- Perform General Building Maintenance and Repairs including repairs to lighting, doors, locks, drywall, flooring, carpet, cabinetry, ceiling tiles, trim, furniture, and other facility components.
- Maintain Facilities Tools and Equipment by overseeing inventory, servicing equipment and fixtures, and ensuring tools, supplies, and storage areas remain organized and operational.
- Support Daily Facility Appearance and Readiness by assisting with classroom setup and cleanliness, carpet care, inspections, and minor repairs to ensure spaces are prepared for ministry and event use.
- Run Departmental Errands and Procurement Tasks including purchasing materials, coordinating deliveries and pickups, and assisting other departments with transportation and supply needs.
- Organize and Maintain Warehouse Storage Areas by sorting, categorizing, and managing facilities inventory and storage systems.
- Transport Equipment and Materials between campus buildings and storage locations, including operating church vehicles, forklifts, rental trucks, or other equipment as necessary.
- Coordinate Vehicle Service Support by transporting church vehicles for maintenance and assisting staff members with transportation needs related to vehicle servicing.
- Serve as On-Call Security and Alarm Response Personnel as the third-level responder for facility security and fire alarm systems, assessing alarm situations and coordinating with emergency services when necessary.
- Provide Cross-Departmental Support by assisting ministry departments and staff with projects, event needs, and other operational requests as assigned.
- Participate in Regular Performance Meetings by meeting monthly with a supervisor to review priorities, workload, updates, and performance expectations. Supervisors are expected to conduct monthly one-on-one meetings with direct reports.

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
