We are hiring a Warehouse Associate to join a growing distribution team on 1st shift. This position focuses on picking, packing, inventory transactions, and preparing customer orders for shipment in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Candidates with experience as a Warehouse Associate, Material Handler, Picker Packer, Shipping & Receiving Associate, Order Picker, Inventory Associate, or Distribution Associate are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Verify part numbers and quantities
- Use handheld scanners to complete inventory transactions
- Enter inventory data into the warehouse computer system
- Prepare shipments according to customer specifications
- Label, package, and organize products for shipment
- Maintain accurate inventory records
- Assist with general warehouse and material handling duties
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe
- Follow all warehouse safety procedures
Requirements
- Previous warehouse, shipping, receiving, or distribution experience preferred
- Ability to accurately recognize part numbers and count inventory
- Basic computer skills and data entry experience
- Experience using handheld scanners or RF devices preferred
- Ability to stand for an entire shift
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. independently and heavier items with assistance
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent attendance and reliability
