Apex Mobile Fleet Service is hiring an experienced mobile fleet technician. This is a field-based role working on heavy trucks, trailers, and equipment.
You will work closely with the owner and operate with a high level of independence. This position is for an intrapreneur. Someone who takes ownership of their work, thinks ahead, and helps build the operation from the inside.
Job Responsibilities
- Mobile diagnostics, maintenance, and repair
- Identify root causes and complete repairs correctly
- Work independently without supervision
- Communicate directly with customers
- Maintain professional standards on every job
- Look for ways to improve customer relationships and grow accounts
Pay & Compensation
- Flat-rate pay based on experience and output
- Bonus pay for new customers brought on
- Profit sharing tied to responsibility and performance
- Insurance stipend
- Company truck
Experience Requirements (Non-Negotiable)
- Minimum 10 years of diesel or fleet repair experience
- Strong diagnostic ability
- Comfortable working alone in the field with integrity
- Able to manage time, jobs, and customer interactions
- Motivated, accountable, and hungry to build something long-term
- Must be able to lift at least 50lbs, and repetitively climb up on and underneath trucks
- Must have your own tools
This role is not suitable for entry-level or developing technicians. Mobile fleet work exposes lack of experience quickly. We cannot afford training, callbacks, or supervision for someone still learning the trade.
