Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in mechanical knowledge and will have the ability to perform a variety of tasks related to the maintenance and repair of mechanical systems. The position requires a high level of proficiency in assembling, fabricating, and maintaining equipment and machinery, as well as a focus on providing exceptional service to customers.
Requirements:
Diagnostic experience is a MUST
A or B level technician
Ability to read wiring diagrams
MUST HAVE OWN TOOLS
Must have ability to maintain a clean and orderly work space.
Welding and fabricating experience encouraged to apply
Oil change/parts changers not apply
Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles, equipment, and machinery, including HVAC and hydraulics systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues, using mechanical knowledge to identify and resolve problems.
- Assemble and disassemble components, including fabricating parts as needed.
- Perform automotive repairs, including brake and suspension work.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including inventory and equipment tracking.
- Transmit and receive information through various means, such as radio and phone.
- Provide exceptional service to customers, answering questions and addressing concerns in a friendly and professional manner.
- Work safely and efficiently, adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a mechanic or service technician.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of HVAC and hydraulics systems.
- Ability to assemble and disassemble components.
- Experience with automotive repair, including brake and suspension work.
- Physical stamina and ability to dig and lift heavy equipment.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
