Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction. Your expertise will help keep our clients comfortable and safe in their environments.
Duties
- Install new HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and building automation systems.
- Perform routine maintenance on HVAC equipment to ensure efficient operation and longevity.
- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems using schematics, electrical diagnostics tools such as ohmmeters, and mechanical knowledge.
- Diagnose issues related to refrigeration, ammonia refrigeration systems, electrical systems, and mechanical components.
- Conduct system inspections to identify potential problems and recommend solutions to clients.
- Repair or replace faulty components like compressors, fans, thermostats, valves, and electrical wiring.
- Maintain detailed service records and communicate clearly with customers about repairs and system performance.
Requirements
- LISCENSED
- Proven experience as an HVAC service technician with construction experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC system repair, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Ability to read schematics and understand HVAC design plans effectively.
- Mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience using hand tools for equipment repair.
- Familiarity with electrical diagnostics including the use of ohmmeters and electrical testing devices.
- Knowledge of refrigeration systems including ammonia refrigeration is a plus.
- Valid EPA certification for refrigerant handling; additional certifications in HVAC/R are advantageous.
- Experience working with building automation systems (BAS) and electrical systems in mechanical environments.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; a <PERSON> driver’s license preferred.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments while maintaining safety standards.

Pay: $20.00 - $48.00 per hour
