Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated, skilled, and career-oriented Maintenance Technician – Electronics to join our industrial laundry facilities team in El Paso, TX. In this role, you will perform hands-on preventative and corrective maintenance across heavy industrial machinery, ensuring peak reliability and performance.
Key Responsibilities & Essential Duties
- Electrical Diagnostics: Diagnose and resolve electrical failure across 480V 3-phase, 208/240V 3-phase, 120/240V single-phase, and low-voltage 24V DC systems using engineering schematics and test equipment.
- Equipment & Sensor Maintenance: Perform routine cleaning and upkeep of machinery, sensors, photo eyes, and electrical enclosures. Must be comfortable working in a true hands-on industrial environment involving grease, oil, and dust.
- Schematics & Wiring: Read, interpret, and work confidently with electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control documentation.
- Mechanical & Drive Systems: Perform skilled removal, repair, and installation of bearings, shafts, gearboxes, chains, belts, sprockets, and mechanical drive assemblies.
- Fluid Power Systems: Utilize strong working knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems to perform corrective maintenance and component rebuilds.
- Preventive & Corrective Maintenance: Execute scheduled PM programs, work orders, and daily assignments to minimize operational downtime.
- Safety & Teamwork: Maintain exceptional safety habits, follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) protocols, and work effectively both independently and collaboratively.
Qualifications & Job Requirements
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of hands-on industrial maintenance mechanic experience with strong emphasis in electronic troubleshooting and schematics knowledge.
- Technical Expertise: Proven emphasis and experience in electronics troubleshooting, control circuits, and electrical schematics.
- Physical & Environmental Work Expectations: Willing and able to perform hands-on work, clean machinery/sensors, and handle grease, oil, and typical industrial maintenance environment conditions.
Schedule: Full-Time - 1:30 PM to 10:00 PM
