Position Overview
Holiday Inn Express Locust Grove is seeking friendly, dependable, and customer-focused individuals to join our Guest Services team. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our guests and play an important role in delivering exceptional hospitality and ensuring a positive guest experience.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests and provide excellent customer service during check-in and check-out
- Answer telephone calls and assist guests with inquiries and requests
- Process reservations and room assignments
- Handle guest concerns professionally and efficiently
- Process payments and maintain accurate guest accounts
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance departments to ensure guest satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area
- Follow hotel policies, procedures, and brand standards
Qualifications
- Previous hotel or customer service experience preferred, but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer skills and willingness to learn hotel systems
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Dependable and punctual
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Opera PMS is a plus
- Previous experience with IHG-branded hotels is preferred but not required
- Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply
