About KyVex E-Moto:
KyVex E-Moto is a Phoenix-based manufacturer of premium CNC-machined billet aluminum aftermarket components for the electric moto market — including Sur-Ron, Talaria, and other lightweight electric moto platforms. We are a division of MTS Offroad, a well-established SXS suspension and fabrication company with over a decade of manufacturing experience in the Valley.
We design and build parts that riders actually push hard and trust. Every product goes from concept to physical prototype to production in house — and you'll be part of that entire process.
The Opportunity:
This is a ground-floor role at a fast-growing startup with real manufacturing infrastructure behind it. You won't be filing reports or sitting in meetings — you'll be designing parts, running the 3D printer, and seeing your work go from a screen to a finished product in customers' hands.
If you want hands-on product development experience in a shop environment with a team that moves fast and builds real things, this is it.
What You'll Do:
- Create detailed 3D models and mechanical designs using SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or equivalent CAD software
- Design CNC-machined billet aluminum components optimized for manufacturing tolerances and fitment
- Produce high-quality product renderings for marketing, dealer catalogs, and e-commerce
- 3D print in-house prototypes to validate fitment, clearances, and function before sending to CNC production
- Iterate on designs based on hands-on testing and production team feedback
- Develop technical drawings and production-ready files for CNC machining
- Maintain organized file libraries for all parts, revisions, and production documentation
- Support new product line development as the KyVex catalog expands
What We're Looking For:
Required:
- Proficiency in SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or comparable CAD/CAM software
- Understanding of 3D modeling and design for CNC machining
- Degree, coursework, or equivalent hands-on experience in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, Product Design, or a related field
- Ability to work on-site in Phoenix, AZ in a shop environment
- Strong attention to detail and a sense of ownership over your work
Preferred:
- Experience with 3D printing and rapid prototyping
- Familiarity with manufacturing tolerances, GD&T, and production-ready drawing packages
- Experience with rendering software (KeyShot, Blender, or similar)
- Background in machining, fabrication, or manufacturing
- Passion for motorsports, powersports, e-moto, or performance vehicles
- Familiarity with Sur-Ron, Talaria, or similar electric moto platforms
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $170.00 - $190.00 per day
