Position: Summer Camp Lunch Coordinator
Type: Seasonal, part-time
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 10 AM - 2 PM, June 28, 2026 – August 29, 2026
Hourly Wage: $16.00 - $17.00 hourly, depending on experiencing

About Maple: Maple Ski Ridge is a community-focused ski area by winter and summer day camp in the summer, where fun and memories come first. We are a passionate team that takes pride in serving our community in the snow and sunshine.
Job Summary: We’re looking for a reliable, friendly individual to assist with kitchen operations while Camp Maple is in session. As the Camp Lunch Coordinator, you’ll prepare food based on a preset menu and ensure our campers receive quality-made food and beverages. You can expect to prepare about 20 lunches per day, Monday through Friday. Lunches usually include freshly sliced fruits and vegetables, pizza, hamburgers, etc. You'll maintain kitchen cleanliness and inventory stock to ensure we have everything needed each day, and may be asked to make an occasional trip to pick up grocery items from local markets. You’ll maintain compliance with safety regulations and food-safety standards, and work closely with other departments to keep our campers happy and excited to spend their summers with us.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
- Other duties may be assigned.
- Reads and prepares menu items as ordered by campers according to portion control and quality standards of the daily menu, including slicing and portioning fruits and vegetables daily

Follows specific recipes and instruction to prepare menu items using basic kitchen equipment and preparatory utensils

Retrieves ingredients and supplies from storage areas by lifting and carrying to appropriate area

Notifies camp directors/management if supplies are low

Unloads and verifies accuracy of deliveries from vendors and places in appropriate storage areas by lifting and carrying boxes

Stores incoming food shipments properly in storeroom, maintains storeroom in a neat, orderly manner, and ensures all food items are stored at the appropriate temperatures

Operates cash register, including taking payment from campers and making accurate change

Serves food and beverages to campers at the appropriate safe food temperatures

Responsible for cleaning the kitchen daily, including all grills, surfaces, dishes, sweeping and mopping of kitchen floors

Responsible for cleaning the restrooms daily, including seeping and mopping the floors and cleaning the toilets and sinks

Monitors all food expiration dates and notifies management of approaching expiration dates

Cleans the lodge by clearing and wiping down tables, sweeping and cleaning the floors as needed

Skills and Requirements:

Must be at least 18-years-old (no exceptions)

Must have reliable transportation

Must work well independently
- Must have experience being around children of all ages

Regularly stand for several hours at a time, occasionally kneel, stoop, or crouch

Lift up to 40lbs

Effectively communicate with management

Follow safety standards established by regulation and Maple Ski Ridge’s safety manual

Possess basic math skills in order to quickly and accurately count money and calculate change

Must have basic knowledge of food safety, including ServSafe Certification and/or willingness to obtain ServSafe Certification prior to summer camp starting
