Suburban Lawn and Garden was started in the early 1950's as a lawn mowing business. In the fifty plus years since, Suburban has grown into a multi-faceted retail, wholesale and service organizations dedicated to the principles of growing superior products, providing excellent service and always delivering great value.
In 2021 we opened our new state of the art Green Manufacturing facility. Suburban Lawn and Garden recycles yard waste into mulch and compost. We are now filing positions available at our Bagging Operations facility in Martin City. This facility operates state of the art bagging equipment with a robotic arm.
In this position you would:
- Monitor the robotic arm to ensure proper placement of product.
- Operate machinery and equipment in a warehouse.
- Ensure quality control by removing damaged products from the machine.
- Assist with switching product lines.
- Haul finished products off the line by forklift to outdoor staging area.
- Provide daily maintenance of the production line.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals.
Skills:
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
- Strong attention to detail and quality control.
Attendance is crucial on a production line. All team member must work together for the line to operate efficiently. Our bagging operation operates Monday - Friday. No experience necessary, we can train! Equipment experience on a forklift is a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
