About Us:
Assisting Hands Home Care provides non-medical in-home care services for elderly and disabled clients, assisting with all activities of daily living (ADLs). Role Overview:
As a Caregiver at Assisting Hands Home Care - Fox Valley South, you will be responsible for providing compassionate, high-quality support to clients in their homes. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with our care team to ensure clients receive the assistance they need to maintain their independence and quality of life. You will have the flexibility of part-time or full-time hours, depending on your schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as meal preparation, personal care, and medication reminders.

Provide transportation to and from appointments or social activities.

Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, including light housekeeping.

Offer companionship to clients, ensuring they feel supported and connected.

Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance caregiving skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
You're a great fit if you have the following skills.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor when working with elderly and disabled clients.

Strong communication skills in English.

Ability to follow care plans and assist in providing daily living support.

Willingness to undergo hands-on training and demonstrate caregiving competence.
Bonus If You:
- Have prior experience in a caregiving role.

Possess certifications in first aid or CPR.

Are bilingual and can communicate in languages other than English.
Employment Type & Availability:
This position is Full-Time, Part-Time or PRN. We have shifts available 7 days/week, days, evenings, overnights and live-ins.
Location:
This position is on-site only. We service clients in: Aurora, Bartlett, Batavia, Big Rock, Bloomingdale, Carol Stream, Elburn, Geneva, Hanover Park, Maple Park, Mooseheart, North Aurora, Roselle, Saint Charles, Streamwood, Sugar Grove, Wayne, West Chicago and Winfield.
