We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Construction Project Engineer to join our growing team. The Project Engineer plays a critical role in supporting Project Managers and Superintendents throughout all phases of commercial construction projects. This position is responsible for coordinating project documentation, managing subcontractor communications, tracking project schedules, and ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and in accordance with contract documents.

Key Responsibilities
- Support Project Managers with daily project administration and coordination.
- Prepare, process, and track Requests for Information (RFIs), submittals, change orders, and purchase orders.
- Maintain project documentation, including drawings, specifications, meeting minutes, and correspondence.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, architects, engineers, and owners to facilitate project progress.
- Assist with developing and maintaining project schedules and milestone tracking.
- Monitor project budgets, commitments, invoices, and cost reports.
- Review construction documents and identify potential conflicts or discrepancies.
- Participate in project meetings and prepare meeting agendas and minutes.
- Conduct site visits to monitor project progress, quality, and compliance with plans and specifications.
- Assist with project closeout, including collection of warranties, operation manuals, as-built drawings, and final documentation.
- Promote and support a safe work environment by adhering to company safety policies and OSHA standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field preferred.
- 1–3 years of commercial construction experience preferred (internship experience will also be considered).
- Knowledge of construction methods, materials, scheduling, and project management principles.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Outlook.
- Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Microsoft Project, or similar construction management software is preferred.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
