Limited Term Employees (LTEs) are limited to 1,200 hours in a payroll year and are not guaranteed any hours per week.

Must possess a valid

DEFINITION
Under the direct supervision of the Parks Operations Manager and general supervision from the full-time crew members, perform a variety of grounds and facility maintenance tasks at Dane County Parks.
EXAMPLES OF DUTIES
Grounds maintenance, such as mowing, string trimming, tree trimming, planting and mulching, trail maintenance and snow removal. Facility repair and maintenance such as cleaning, washing, painting and assisting with building repairs. Operate and maintain commercial type mowers, trimmers, light and heavy-duty vehicles and trailers, skid-steers and larger loaders. Provide information and assistance to the public when approached in the field.
SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION
Ability to operate and maintain a variety of equipment and tools that includes light and heavy-duty vehicles and trailers, skid-steer and larger loaders, large driving mowers and various hand and power tools, including chainsaws. Ability to communicate tactfully with the public. Ability to work independently from oral and written directions.
