Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging sermons, teachings, and religious education that resonate with a diverse congregation.
- Provide pastoral counseling and spiritual guidance to individuals and families facing life challenges, including terminal illness or grief.
- Lead worship services, prayer meetings, and special events that strengthen community bonds.
- Offer bereavement support and crisis intervention to those experiencing loss or hardship.
- Collaborate with church leadership on program development, event planning, and outreach initiatives.
- Mentor and support church staff, volunteers, and congregation members in their spiritual journeys.
- Facilitate religious studies classes, workshops, and seminars on biblical theology and Christian living.
Skills
- Strong teaching abilities with experience in religious education and biblical theology.
- Excellent public speaking and presentation skills that inspire and motivate diverse audiences.
- Proven leadership in faith-based organizations with effective communication skills.
- Compassionate pastoral counseling expertise for individuals dealing with terminal illness or grief.

- Skilled in crisis management, conflict resolution, and crisis intervention strategies.
- Experience in event planning, mentoring, and working as a clergyperson within nonprofit faith-based settings.
- Knowledge of hospice care principles and Christian counseling techniques to support those facing life's final stages.
