Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and highly organized General Contractor / Project Manager to lead custom home construction projects from start to finish. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to manage multiple trades while maintaining quality, schedule, and budget.
This is a key position within a growing company focused on high-end residential construction.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee all phases of custom home construction
- Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and on-site teams
- Ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget
- Maintain the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship
- Review and interpret architectural plans and construction documents
- Monitor compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and inspections
- Prepare and manage project budgets, schedules, and material procurement
- Communicate effectively with clients, architects, engineers, and internal team
- Proactively identify and resolve construction challenges
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a General Contractor, Superintendent, or Project Manager in residential construction
- Strong knowledge of custom home building and/or high-end remodeling
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Experience managing subcontractors and job sites
- Familiarity with construction software (Bluebeam preferred)
- Knowledge across multiple trades (stucco, finishes, glass, fabrication, etc.) is a plus
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong leadership and communication abilities
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
