Client Service Associate (CSA)
Role Overview
Jefferies Wealth Management is seeking a Client Service Associate (CSA) to support Financial Advisors and Relationship Managers in delivering a high‑touch, client‑centric wealth management experience. The CSA will serve as a key point of contact for clients and play a critical role in day‑to‑day account servicing, operational support, and administrative coordination for a growing wealth management practice.
This role is ideal for a detail‑oriented professional with strong client service skills, a collaborative mindset, and an interest in building a long‑term career within wealth management.
Key Responsibilities
Client Service & Relationship Support
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, responding promptly and professionally to service requests and inquiries.
- Support Financial Advisors in delivering a seamless and high‑quality client experience.
- Assist with client onboarding, including account opening documentation, maintenance requests, and periodic updates.
- Coordinate client meetings, prepare materials, and follow up on action items.
- Coordination of marketing events and internal expense management and reimbursement.
- Creating marketing materials that reflect client proposals, and liaising with compliance and design.
- Coordination of Travel and Entertainment and expense reimbursement.
- Maintenance of CRM and Calendar information with respect to client interactions.
Account & Operational Support
- Process account transactions, including money movements, distributions, and transfers, in accordance with firm policies.
- Monitor account activity and follow up on outstanding items or documentation.
- Assist with client reporting, statements, and general account inquiries.
- Partner with internal operations, compliance, and trading teams to resolve issues efficiently.
Administrative & Practice Management
- Maintain accurate client records and documentation in firm systems.
- Support practice management initiatives, workflow organization, and process improvements.
- Assist with preparation of presentations, reports, and client correspondence.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, firm policies, and compliance standards.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
- 1–4 years of experience in wealth management, private banking, financial services, or a client service role.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, client‑focused environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Preferred
- Experience supporting Financial Advisors or Relationship Managers in a wealth management setting.
- Familiarity with brokerage and advisory accounts, including custodial and operational processes.
- Series 7 and Series 66 licenses (or ability to obtain within a specified timeframe).
- Experience working with high‑net‑worth or ultra‑high‑net‑worth clients.
