QUALIFICATIONS:

Meets professional responsibilities.

Plans and organizes instruction to achieve general and course proficiencies.

Provides effective instruction using a variety of strategies, which bring about desired student proficiencies.

Assesses student progress and maintains records and communicates ongoing student progress.

Organizes and manages the classroom environment to maximize learning.

Demonstrates effective communication skills with students, parents, and the community.

Demonstrates effective people skills.
- Participates in PLC

Utilizes data to plan and drive instruction.
-
Must be licensed in special education through IDOE.
REQUIREMENT:
Current Indiana Education Teacher’s License
SALARY/BENEFITS: According to the salary schedule and benefit package per agreement of Western School Corporation and Western Education Association.
STARTING DATE/LENGTH OF CONTRACT: August 6, 2026
