SIGCOR Logistics is currently seeking reliable and responsible Delivery Drivers to join our team. As a delivery driver, you will be an essential part of our operations, responsible for delivering packages to our valued customers in a safe and timely manner. Your dedication and excellent customer service skills will contribute to our commitment to providing outstanding service to our clients. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Safely operate a company-provided delivery vehicle to deliver packages to designated locations.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of products.
- Load and unload packages; sort and scan truck to verify manifest accuracy before dispatch.
- Plan and follow the most efficient route for timely deliveries while adhering to traffic laws and speed limits.
- Verify the accuracy of packages and ensure proper documentation — including clear delivery photos (PPOD) and real signatures (first initial + last name) where required.
- Provide exceptional customer service by being polite, professional, and accommodating during deliveries.
- Collaborate with the dispatch team to optimize delivery schedules and communicate any delays or issues promptly; dispatch on time, every time.
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections (tires, lights, blinkers, horn, wipers) and maintain vehicle cleanliness.
- Report any vehicle malfunctions, accidents, or traffic violations to the supervisor immediately; notify management of maintenance concerns before returning home.
- For undeliverable packages, scan correctly and service-cross per FedEx protocol — no package left unaccounted for.
- Operate with a hands-free, seatbelt-on standard at all times while on the road.
- Complete all stops on your route; assist team members when needed.
- Return all company equipment (batteries, scanners, iPads) at end of shift.
- Represent SIGCOR Logistics in a positive and professional manner at all times.
WHAT WE EXPECT — THE SIGCOR STANDARD:
At SIGCOR, every driver is expected to run a Driver’s Perfect Day. No one expects you to arrive a professional driver. However, if you work for SIGCOR, you must become one.
START STRONG: Arrive in proper uniform, clock in early and ready to work, and complete a full pre-trip inspection (tires, lights, blinkers, horn, wipers) before leaving the terminal.
PREP YOUR DAY : Sort and scan your truck, review your manifest, set up your map, and dispatch on time with manager approval where required. Take all packages.
ON THE ROAD : Seatbelt on. Hands free. Complete every stop. Obey speed limits. Handle pickups on-site with proper scanning (PO).
DELIVER LIKE A PRO: Deliver everything on your truck. Clear PPOD photos. Real signatures (first initial + last name). Door tags placed correctly. Service-cross any undeliverable packages per protocol. Help team when needed.
FINISH STRONG : Return to the terminal safely. Clean out your truck and log out of scanner. Complete post-trip inspection. Notify management of any maintenance concerns. Return batteries, scanners, and iPads. Get home safe.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be 21 years or older.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Must be able to clear pre-employment background check and drug screening.
- Prior experience with courier or delivery services is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks effectively.
- Good communication skills and a customer-oriented approach.
- Ability to lift packages up to 150 lbs; role requires frequent bending, lifting, and maneuvering in and out of the delivery truck to the front door or access point.
