Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist with placing food orders using POS systems such as Clover POS
- Prepare and assemble food items efficiently, adhering to safety and sanitation standards.
- Manage customer transactions accurately, including processing cash, credit card payments, and handling cash register operations.
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales.
- Maintain a clean workspace by sanitizing surfaces, organizing supplies, and ensuring food safety compliance.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively during food preparation.
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions about menu options and managing food service orders promptly.
Requirements
- Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of POS system.
- Strong food handling skills with an understanding of sanitation and food safety protocols.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy hours.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and processing transactions accurately.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude.
- Prior experience with food preparation, serving, or retail sales transactions is advantageous.
