EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
This position supports children, youth, and families by providing social services that promote safety, stability, and well-being. The role involves teamwork with community partners to address needs and develop effective plans. As a County Caseworker 2, you will perform the following duties:

Casework Services: Provide guidance to children and families to support safety, permanence, and overall well-being

Family Contacts: Maintain frequent contact with children, parents, and foster parents to address concerns and support progress

Interviews and Visits: Conduct interviews, home visits, and meetings to assess safety and understand family needs

Documentation Tasks: Prepare forms, maintain case records, and complete correspondence according to agency standards

Database Use: Use the statewide CAPS system to enter and review information in a timely and accurate manner

After-Hours Response: Respond to emergency calls after hours and investigate reports when assigned
Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment.

Work hours are 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
