Responsibilities:
- Operate a forklift to move, stack, and retrieve materials in a safe and efficient manner
- Load and unload trucks, containers, and other vehicles
- Perform daily inspections of the forklift and report any maintenance or safety issues
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations while operating the forklift
- Maintain accurate records of inventory movement and storage locations
- Perform picking, packing, sorting and fulfillment as needed
- Keep the warehouse clean and organized
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or distribution center setting
- Proficient in order picking and using an order picker attachment on the forklift
- Knowledge of Scanning, labeling, palletizing & Packaging
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks
- Familiarity with distribution center operations and inventory management systems
Skills:
- Valid forklift operator certification or willingness to obtain one
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness
- Attention to detail to ensure accurate movement and placement of materials
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and supervisors
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity targets
