Title: Quality/Test Engineer
Location: Hodges, SC
Duration: 12 Months Contract with Possible extension
Pay rate: $47 on C2C
Client: Caterpillar
Position’s Contributions to Work Group:
- Clear communication between Hodges, CCR and TK
- Close management of material flow and priorities
- Process optimization of blasting operation to reduce internal and external scrap
- Process and Quality audits
- Alignment of logistics priorities on critical material to be shipped

Typical task breakdown:
- Support quality inspectors at final inspection station reviewing castings at MRB and clarifying questions
- Organize flow of material, making sure team is working on top priorities
- Communicate with Quality engineers on special requirements
- Escalate to leadership when problems occur
Interaction with team:
- Communication with other Quality engineers, Quality inspectors, and shop floor operators
Education & Experience Required:
- Years of experience: 3-5
- Degree requirement: BA
