Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Retail Store Manager to lead our store operations and drive business growth. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a comprehensive understanding of retail management, and excellent communication abilities. Duties
- Oversee daily store operations, including sales, inventory management, and customer service to ensure smooth functioning.
- Lead, motivate, and supervise store staff to achieve sales targets and maintain high standards of customer satisfaction.
- Implement effective merchandising strategies to optimize product placement and presentation.
- Manage payroll, budgeting, purchasing, and pricing to maximize profitability.
- Conduct recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and training of new employees to build a strong team.
- Handle cash management duties such as cashiering, cash handling, and bookkeeping with accuracy.
- Develop and execute marketing initiatives to attract new customers and retain existing ones.
- Monitor sales performance using POS systems and analyze sales data for strategic planning.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety regulations, and store standards.
- Foster a positive shopping environment through excellent phone etiquette and organizational skills.

Skills
- Proven leadership experience in retail management with supervising responsibilities.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence purchasing decisions and vendor relationships.
- Excellent communication skills in both English and additional languages (multilingual abilities are a plus).
- Proficiency in POS systems, merchandising software, and basic math for pricing and bookkeeping tasks.
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while prioritizing tasks efficiently.
- Experience in recruiting, training & development, team management, and sales management.
- Knowledge of marketing strategies, customer service excellence, and store management best practices.
- Organizational skills with attention to detail in administrative tasks such as payroll, budgeting, and inventory control.
- Strong interpersonal skills including phone etiquette and conflict resolution capabilities.
