We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Production Planner to join our manufacturing team. Duties
- Develop and maintain master production schedules (MPS) based on demand planning, sales forecasts, and inventory levels to meet customer delivery requirements.
- Utilize ERP systems such as SAP and Oracle to plan, monitor, and adjust production activities in real-time.
- Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless supply chain operations and inventory management.
- Conduct demand forecasting analysis using Excel data analysis tools to anticipate future production needs accurately.
- Manage logistics inventory control processes to optimize stock levels, reduce waste, and improve overall inventory accuracy.
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to streamline workflows, eliminate waste, and enhance productivity across the production process.
- Monitor material requirements planning (MRP) outputs to ensure materials are available for production schedules while minimizing excess inventory.
Requirements
- Proven experience in supply chain management, production planning, or manufacturing environments with a strong understanding of ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
- Technical proficiency in demand forecasting analysis, Excel data analysis, and inventory control techniques.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing methodologies and their application within a production setting.
- Familiarity with logistics inventory management practices and demand planning strategies.
- Ability to develop accurate master production schedules (MPS) that align with business goals and customer demands.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail for forecasting accuracy and inventory optimization.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively across departments including procurement, manufacturing, and logistics teams.
