Position Overview
GreenSweep is seeking a strategic and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our revenue growth initiatives. This role will oversee Client Relationship Managers (CRMs) and Business Development Representatives (BDRs), ensuring strong client retention, pipeline development, and alignment with operational capabilities. The ideal candidate will leverage data, technology, and cross-functional collaboration to drive performance and identify growth opportunities. This position reports to the President. This full-time position is on-site with local travel required.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
The Sales Manager is expected to perform at a minimum the following responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet company objectives
- Lead, coach, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and team targets
- Set sales goals, track performance, provide regular feedback, and drive accountability
- Utilize Aspire and Capsa platforms to track, analyze, and report on client activity and pipeline health
- Analyze sales data, market trends, and client needs to identify opportunities and improve sales effectiveness and profitability
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders to support retention and expansion
- Ensure client satisfaction and resolve escalated issues
- Collaborate with the Operations Manager to anticipate service gaps and ensure seamless service delivery
- Collaborate with Marketing Manager to align messaging
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans aligned with company growth objectives
- Recruit, train, and mentor team members to continuously improve performance
- Ensure company policies and procedures are followed by the sales team
- Promote company culture and core values stressing the importance of professionalism
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3-7 years of proven experience in sales, with at least 2-5 years in a leadership role
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to analyze data and make strategic decisions
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
- Proficiency with CRM software and sales tools
- Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and ability to be insured by company insurance carrier
Preferred
- Experience in landscaping, facilities services, or related service industries
- Experience managing both account management (CRM) and new business (BDR) functions
- Knowledge of landscape materials, best practices, and equipment operation
- Proficiency with Aspire software
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, particularly with operations teams
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to translate insights into action
- Ability to anticipate challenges and proactively solve problems
