Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of guest rooms and public areas within our hotel. As a Room Attendant, you will ensure that guests have a pleasant and comfortable experience by providing exceptional housekeeping services.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including bathrooms, kitchens, and living areas to meet hotel standards.
- Change bed linens, towels, and other amenities as required.
- Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and surfaces to maintain a fresh environment.
- Vacuum carpets and perform floor care duties to ensure cleanliness throughout the property.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Restock housekeeping supplies in guest rooms and storage areas as needed.
- Assist with laundry duties when required to support overall housekeeping operations.
- Maintain a positive attitude while interacting with guests and team members.
Skills
- Experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial services is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to clean thoroughly and efficiently.
- Knowledge of hospitality standards and best practices in housekeeping management.
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment and floor care techniques.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with guests and colleagues.
