Journey Road Treatment Centers is seeking an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) to join the Outpatient Behavioral Health Services team. This is a contracted position for a dynamic provider in a high-paced outpatient Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) clinic setting with a focus on behavioral healthcare Suboxone treatment. We have been providing MAT services since 2015, and we are embarking on a new vision to integrate addictions, behavioral health, and general health care to promote connection, health, and recovery for individuals in underserved populations and geographical areas.

Education/Licensure Requirements
- APRN required
- XDEA # preferred but not required (we can train on site and help with the application process)
Background Checks
- Position requires criminal, sanctions, and other background checks in accordance with organizational policies, contract(s), funder(s), and accreditation compliance
Experience
- 1-2 years of behavioral health and/or addictions preferred
Required Competencies
- Practice-based learning and improvement
- Interviewing/assessment skills
- Medical interventions for clients with addictions and behavioral health needs
- Knowledge of best-practice prescribing practices for individuals with addictions and behavioral health needs
- Knowledge of interactions of common medications in combination with Suboxone and other MAT prescriptions
- Knowledge of quality medical record documentation

- Interpersonal skills
- Technologies commonly used in practicing medicine, such as EHR/EMR and ePrescribing software
The successful candidate will have an X-waiver as well as a strong interest in working in addictions and behavioral health as exhibited by previous work experience, community engagement, education, or training. The Outpatient Behavioral Health Services team at Journey Road Treatment Centers have clients with a wide variety of opioid use disorders and, therefore, providing interventions and an environment to promote connection, health, and recovery is vital.
