Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive HRIS Manager to lead the administration, optimization, and strategic development of our Human Resources Information System (HRIS). This pivotal role involves managing complex system architecture, ensuring seamless integration with other IT infrastructure components, and supporting HR functions through innovative technology solutions. The ideal candidate will possess 7 years of experience in system administration, software implementation, and troubleshooting within a dynamic organizational environment. Hands on experience with UKG is required. Your expertise will directly contribute to enhancing HR operational efficiency, data security, and compliance across the organization. Possible contract to hire position.
Duties
- Oversee the design, deployment, and maintenance of the HRIS platform, ensuring system architecture aligned with organizational needs.
- Manage system configuration, updates, and upgrades to optimize performance and security.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate HRIS with other enterprise systems such as payroll, benefits administration, and talent management platforms.
- Develop and implement automation processes to streamline HR workflows and data management.
- Conduct regular system troubleshooting to resolve technical issues related to software modules, APIs (Application Programming Interfaces), and hardware components such as RAID controllers.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting protocols.
- Lead efforts in system tuning and performance optimization using tools like load balancing, server backup and recovery strategies, and storage management.
- Support IT infrastructure related to virtualization technologies such as Kubernetes and VMware to ensure scalable HRIS operations.
- Implement security measures including information security protocols, firewall configurations, VPN access controls, and Active Directory management.
- Provide technical support for software applications including Pegasystems or similar BPM (Business Process Management) solutions.
- Manage configuration management processes utilizing scripting languages like Bash (Unix shell), PowerShell, or Python for automation tasks.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy standards and conduct regular audits for security vulnerabilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering or a related field; advanced certifications preferred.
- Proven experience managing complex HRIS systems within large organizations or enterprise environments.
- Experience with SAP is preferred

Pay: $58.00 - $70.00 per hour
