About the Role
We’re a high-volume food truck looking for a reliable, skilled, and energetic Food Truck Chef / Cook to join our team. This is a hands-on role supporting a fast-paced mobile kitchen. You’ll help prepare high-quality food quickly and consistently during busy service hours.

Key Responsibilities
● Prep ingredients and mise en place before service
● Cook and assemble menu items to order with speed and consistency
● Maintain high food quality, portion control, and presentation standards
● Assist with inventory, restocking, and basic food ordering
● Keep the food truck kitchen clean, organized, and up to health department standards
● Follow food safety and sanitation procedures at all times
● Work efficiently in a small, mobile kitchen during peak rushes
● Support the team with setup, breakdown, and daily cleaning
● Provide friendly, professional service when interacting with customers
Requirements
● Previous experience as a cook, line cook, or food truck cook preferred (strong home cooks with commercial kitchen experience will be considered)
● CFPM: Certified Food Protection Manager certificate (must be active)
● Ability to work quickly and accurately in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
● Strong knife skills and basic cooking techniques
● Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
● Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 40–50 lbs, and work in a small, hot kitchen
● Flexible availability, including weekends, evenings, and some holidays
● Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
Preferred Qualifications
● Experience working on a food truck or in a high-volume restaurant
● Experience with POS systems
● Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
● Basic knowledge of inventory management
