Position Overview
We are seeking a Certified Operating Room (OR) Scrub Tech to join a dedicated surgical team at a respected critical access hospital in Central New York. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced surgical technologists looking to work in a collaborative, patient-focused environment.

- Schedule: 4 x 10-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
- Certification: Required
- 50-mile radius rule applies
- Local candidates are welcome (local pay package applies).
Pay Package
Travel Pay
- Weekly Gross: $2,086
- Effective Hourly Rate: $52.15
- Taxable Pay: $21.00/hour ($840/week)
- Non-Taxable Stipend: $31.15/hour ($1,246/week)
Local Pay
- Hourly Rate: $44.00
- Weekly Pay: $1,760
Responsibilities
- Prepare the operating room for surgical procedures.
- Maintain sterile technique and ensure a safe surgical environment.
- Assist surgeons by passing instruments and supplies during procedures.
- Handle surgical instruments and equipment before, during, and after surgery.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to deliver high-quality patient care.
Clinical Environment
- 4 Operating Rooms
- 3 PACU Bays
- Primarily adult and geriatric surgical cases with occasional pediatric cases
- Paper charting with Sorian used for order entry
