JOB SUMMARY
Under general direction of the Project Manager the Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for business systems testing to ensure the quality of processes and data integrity.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/DUTIES
· Develop and implement enterprise approach to data quality and structured testing of loan management software application
· Assist in evaluation of bug reports/tickets and audit/assess/examine findings (both internal and external) to identify any potential systematic issues and/or value-add process improvement enhancements, quantifying potential business impact, and documenting findings/recommendations
· Research and document any potential systematic issues to discover root cause and identify reproducible steps to replicate when possible and assist in determining viable corrective action plan
· Lead testing for all changes/upgrades to loan management system and related applications, maintaining records of change requests, requirements, approvals, and testing plans and execution to ensure success
· Work closely with Marketing, Project, Compliance, Training and Dev teams to ensure data integrity, including, but not limited to the following:
· System generated forms such as loan documents, receipts, letters, etc.
· Customer-facing portal and app(s) for account management, payments, lending, etc.
· Ensure timeliness of assigned reviews for time-sensitive changes/proofs
· Provide support to answer questions and address any problems/issues as they arise, promptly communicating to affected teams and leadership
· Collaborate with leadership and business units to develop and maintain in-depth understanding of data structures, systems, and business operations
· Engage and collaborate with teammates and stakeholders by maintaining solutions-focused mindset, especially when faced with challenges, to cross-functionally accomplish goals in a positive working atmosphere
· Cultivate and maintain open effective communication channels within the department and related business units within the organization
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
· High School Diploma or equivalency
· Experience with process improvement, SQL, and SQL Server Reporting Services preferred
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This job operates in a professional office environment. This position requires sitting for long periods of time and very frequent use of a keyboard. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, scanners, and fax machines. Must be able to occasionally lift up to 5 pounds unassisted.
EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
