Position Summary - Front Host / Hostess
The Host is the first impression of Nan Xiang Soup Dumpling and is responsible for greeting guests, managing the waitlist, seating guests efficiently, and ensuring smooth front-of-house operations.
Responsibilities
- Welcome guests warmly.
- Manage reservations and waitlists.
- Seat guests according to restaurant rotation.
- Answer phone calls professionally.
- Provide accurate wait time estimates.
- Maintain a clean host stand and entrance.
- Coordinate with servers and managers regarding seating.
- Thank guests as they leave and invite them to return.
- Assist customers with take out & online orders
- Assist delivery platform drivers with UberEat/Doordash/Grubhub orders
Qualifications
- Friendly and professional demeanor.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong organizational abilities.
- Comfortable using reservation or waitlist systems.
- Ability to multitask during busy service periods.

Pay: $17.05 - $25.00 per hour
