A large residential apartment community in Baltimore, MD is hiring a full-time HVAC Maintenance Technician to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional who takes pride in diagnosing problems, solving complex mechanical issues, and delivering high-quality service.
What You'll Do
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial and residential HVAC systems (heat pumps, PTACs, furnaces, split systems) across the property
- Perform preventive maintenance, filter changes, and seasonal startups/shutdowns
- Respond to resident service requests and after-hours emergency calls on rotation
- Support unit turnovers and assist with general maintenance as needed
- Help document and correct items from housing inspections
Qualifications
- 2+ years of HVAC service experience preferred; multifamily or apartment maintenance experience a plus
- EPA Section 608 Certification (Universal preferred)
- Ability to pass background check; reliable and resident-friendly
- Valid driver’s license and own basic hand tools
