Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Logistics Coordinator/ Customer Account Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics and supply chain processes.
The ideal candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for customers while supporting order processing, shipment coordination, inventory management, and export documentation requirements.
Experience with Foreign Trade Zones (FTZ), bonded shipments, and export documentation is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Communication: Regularly follow up with customers to request booking information and confirm purchase orders (POs), products, and shipping requirements.
- Documentation Management: Prepare and maintain essential shipping documentation, including bonded documentation, health certificates, and proof of delivery (PODs).
- Inventory Tracking: Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records for products and shipments.
- Order Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely processing of orders, including managing shipment schedules and documentation requirements.
- Issue Resolution: Address any discrepancies or issues in the logistics process and provide resolutions to customers as needed.
- Customer Service: Provide outstanding customer service, ensuring that customers' needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Proven experience in logistics, customer service, or account management. Knowledge of supply chain processes is a plus. Experience with FTZ operations, bonded shipments, CBP Form 7512s, and USDA/USDC export certificates is preferred.
- Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using logistics management software, spreadsheets, and general office tools.
- Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage changing priorities effectively.
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, or a related field preferred.
