Job Summary:
Varsity Inn in Ocean City, NJ is hiring a dependable Line Cook to join our busy kitchen team! We are looking for an experienced, team-oriented cook who can work efficiently in a fast-paced breakfast and lunch environment.
Schedule Options:
- Part-time: 2–3 days per week through August & September - Perfect for a cook working dinners looking for a few, extra, daytime hours during the in-season.
- Year-round: 4–5 days per week
Responsibilities:
- Prepare breakfast and lunch menu items
- Work grill, flat top, fryer and prep stations
- Maintain food quality, portion control and presentation
- Keep your station clean, organized and stocked
- Follow food safety and sanitation standards
- Work efficiently as part of a phenomenal team during busy service
Qualifications:
- Previous line cook or restaurant kitchen experience preferred
- Breakfast/lunch experience a plus
- Dependable, punctual and hardworking
- Able to work in a fast-paced kitchen
- Weekend availability required
