The restaurant server is responsible for taking orders from and serving customers. Duties will mostly include taking food and drink orders and placing into proper POS or slip and ensuring that tables are served properly and that all payments are collected. Other responsibilities include ensuring our tables are clean and tidy when guests arrive and presenting menu. Also, required to have a positive attitude and the ability to work well under pressure with other team members. Previous work experience involving customer service in desired.

1. Greet guests in a positive, friendly manner and making them feel welcome.
2. Engage with guests and promote a positive environment.
3. Ensure to have knowledge of Alcohol and Food service requirements.
4. Build and establish a personal clientele.
5. Required to meet requirements set by Management.
6. Responsible for a payment transactions.
7. Provide direction to support to ensure proper operation of the outlet.
8. Ensure all Sequence of Service are followed.
9. Assist the support teams as necessary.
10. Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the outlet.
11. Perform all opening and closing duties, based upon shift assignment.
12. Clean equipment, tools, and supplies and maintain equipment in good working order.
13. Maintain a level of professionalism and build rapport that will make guests want to return to outlet.
14. Anticipate the guests’ needs and responding appropriately with a sense of urgency.
15. Work as a team, assisting all guests’ and employees’ needs and inquiries.
16. Be informed of any outlet and property updates maintaining a current knowledge of events.
17. Effectively communicate with management, hosts and service staff to fulfill and address any issues or needs requested by guests and/or other employees.
18. Follow all procedures and policies set forth by the company and department.
19. Follow all health and safety regulations.

2 years’ experience as a restaurant server preferred.

Ability to work as part of a team in a highvolume environment.

Possess extensive knowledge of Spirits, Wine, Beer, NonAlcoholic, and Food.

Able to lift and carry heavy trays and equipment as well as delicate china and glassware.

Must possess good attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.

Excellent customer service skills are required.

Ability to maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Good communication skills; multilingual is a plus.

Must be 21 years of age to serve food and alcoholic beverages in the State of Tennessee.

Knowledgeable about food and wine and ability to confidently recommend and serve such items.

Ability to upsell.

Ability to work in extreme temperatures and in direct sunlight for extended periods of time.

Ability to follow directions well, make quick decisions, and keep organized while under pressure.
