Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient assessments and obtain medical histories
- Perform mental health examinations and order diagnostic tests as necessary
- Collaborate with physicians to develop and implement treatment plans
- Administer medications, injections, and other medical treatments
- Provide patient education on various health conditions and treatment options
- Utilize electronic medical record systems to document patient information accurately
- Coordinate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Stay updated on the latest medical research and advancements in the field
Skills:
To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:
- Proficiency in mental disorder management
- Experience in psychotherapy
- Strong knowledge of medical coding and billing practices
- Solid understanding of human physiology and anatomy
- Familiarity with electronic medical record systems (such as Cerner)
- Knowledge and experience of working with population 9yrs and above
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications:
- Valid Physician Assistant license in Texas full unrestricted license
- Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program
- Previous experience working as a Physician Assistant preferred,
