About Host & Home
Host & Home is a growing vacation rental management company built around exceptional hospitality, strong execution, and a high standard of service for both guests and homeowners. We are looking for an outstanding hospitality professional to join our team in a reservations and guest experience role. This is an opportunity to be part of a company where your work directly impacts booked revenue, guest satisfaction, and the overall quality of the customer experience.
This is not a passive customer service position. We are looking for someone who is proactive, polished, organized, and excited to be part of a team that takes pride in doing hospitality at a high level.
Position Summary
The Reservations & Guest Experience Specialist plays a key role in both revenue generation and guest satisfaction. This person will help prospective guests plan and book their vacations, manage reservations with accuracy and urgency, and support in-house guests when service needs arise during their stay.
The right candidate is highly responsive, tech-comfortable, detail-oriented, and able to balance sales-minded vacation planning with thoughtful guest support. They should be comfortable working independently once trained, while also contributing to a collaborative, high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage inbound leads and guest communication across phone, email, chat, and CRM channels
- Assist prospective guests with vacation planning and guide them through the booking process
- Process and manage reservations accurately and efficiently
- Support in-house guests by coordinating maintenance-related communication and service requests during their stay
- Respond to guest questions, concerns, and issues with professionalism, urgency, and care
- Monitor and respond to guest reviews across multiple channels, and share relevant feedback with internal team members
- Maintain strong organization, attention to detail, and follow-through in a fast-paced environment
- Work independently with minimal supervision once training is complete
Qualifications
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- A hospitality-first mindset and genuine commitment to customer service
- Ability to multitask, stay organized, and perform well in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
- Confidence working independently and taking ownership of responsibilities
- Strong computer skills and comfort using multiple software applications throughout the day
- Professional phone presence and excellent attention to detail
- Previous vacation rental or hospitality experience required
- Experience with reservation software, CRM systems, or related technology is a plus
Schedule Expectations
This is a full-time hospitality role, and flexibility is essential. Saturdays are a required part of the schedule during peak season, when guest demand and operational needs are at their highest. Hospitality is not a Monday-through-Friday business, and candidates should be prepared to be all hands on deck during our busiest times. If you are looking for a role with fixed weekday-only expectations, this will not be the right fit.
Compensation and Benefits
- Merit-based reservation conversion bonus structure
- Paid time off
- Health insurance
- Dental insurance
- Vision insurance
- 401(k)
- Employee discount
- Flexible schedule
Why This Role Stands Out
This is a chance to join a growing company that takes hospitality seriously and values accountability, responsiveness, and team culture. The right person will have the opportunity to make a real impact, grow within the company, and be part of a team that cares deeply about the guest experience and the quality of its work.
If you’re a strong communicator, a problem solver, and someone who thrives in a fast-moving hospitality environment, we’d love to hear from you.
