Responsibilities
- Efficiently wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen tools using proper cleaning techniques.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area, including sinks, counters, and storage spaces.
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as bussing tables and organizing supplies to support kitchen staff.
- Support catering and banquet events by ensuring all serving ware is clean and ready for use.
- Follow food handling safety standards and sanitation protocols at all times to ensure a hygienic environment.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely turnover of dishes during busy service periods.
- Help with general cleaning duties around the kitchen and dining areas to uphold high standards of cleanliness.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Basic understanding of food handling safety and sanitation procedures.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks.
