Position Title: Warehouse Associate
Reports To: ReStore Manager
Position Summary:
The Warehouse Associate supports the daily operations of the ReStore by assisting with donation intake, processing, and movement of merchandise to the sales floor, operating the register, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. This role provides excellent customer service to donors, shoppers, and volunteers. Each Warehouse Associate is also assigned a specific department to oversee for cleanliness, pricing control, and safety. This position is not a managerial role and does not have authority to hire, fire, schedule, or make operational policy decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
· Provide friendly, professional customer service to donors, shoppers, and volunteers.
· Assist donors by unloading donations from vehicles in a safe and respectful manner.
· Move merchandise to designated processing or sales floor areas.
· Maintain assigned store department, ensuring it is clean, organized, priced according to standards, and free of safety hazards.
· Help price and tag merchandise following established guidelines.
· Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system to process customer transactions and donations accurately.
· Maintain cleanliness and organization in the warehouse, donation area, and sales floor support areas.
· Assist in stocking shelves, rotating merchandise for visibility and accessibility, and keeping displays neat.
· Safely operate equipment such as dollies, pallet jacks, and carts.
· Follow all safety protocols, including proper lifting techniques and use of personal protective equipment.
· Work cooperatively with other staff and volunteers to meet store needs.
· Carry out all duties as directed by the ReStore Manager.
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
· Retail, warehouse, or customer service experience preferred.
· Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
· Strong communication skills and a customer-friendly attitude.
· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions.

This position operates in warehouse and retail settings, requiring physical activity, safe lifting practices, and frequent public interaction.
Pay: $16.90 per hour
