The CT/Radiology Technologist at our River Oaks Hospital location is responsible for obtaining high quality radiographic images while practicing ALARA principles. He/she will be able to operate radiation producing equipment such as portable rad units, C-Arms, Computed Axial Tomography and R/F units to create diagnostic images.

· Possesses the ability to explain procedures, prepare and administer oral, rectal and/or IV contrast agents.
· Maintains patient records and practices radiation safety around patients and staff.
· Adheres to Advanced Diagnostic Healthcare’s specific safety standards, isolation precautions and infection control policies and procedures.
· Assists the Director in establishing goals and develops strategic plans for all radiology operations.
· Coordinates all technical activities with assigned areas of responsibilities to ensure all requested radiological examinations are completed in a timely manner.

Qualifications (Education, Experience and Certifications)
Education, Certification, Licensure: Radiologic Technologist minimum 3 years’ experience with their ARRT registration and Texas MRT certification; AAS or BS in Radiologic Science is a plus. Computed Axial Tomography Technologist must possess an ARRT CT registration.
Knowledge, Training: Three (3) years related experience and/or training, preferably in a hospital setting.
Current BLS Certification required.
